I dropped my wedding dress off to be cleaned THREE weeks ago. I was told I would hear from the manager within 48 hours to confirm all the details to for cleaning the wedding dress. No one called so I assumed they had just gone ahead and cleaned it. I called last week for an update and no one knew where my dress was or what was going on with it. I stated a manager needed to contact me immediately. No phone call. I called again three days later and spoke to the very short and rude manager. They forgot about my dress so it never got cleaned. I am going to pick it up today and find someplace else to take it
200+ dollars for 36 items, the majority of which were shirts to be laundered. Buyer beware. There's a reason prices aren't obviously disclosed in the store or on their website. I'm at fault for not getting a price in advance, or being more through in looking up a fee schedule, but personal failure aside... these prices are highway robbery. There are far more cost effective solutions than Anton's of Newburyport.
