Foodies...this place is for you! The staff are extremely passionate and knowledgeable about olive oil, balsamic vinegar and the hand picked local products they carry. If you think 'olive oil is olive oil' then you need to come here - you'd be amazed at the selection they have!
There are so many great things to say about the Newburyport Olive Oil Company. The store is clean, the selection is amazing, the quality outstanding, the staff friendly and knowledgeable. My only beef is that THEY ARE NEVER OPEN! It seems every time I take the trip to get olive oil, the store is closed - it's so frustrating. So, my recommendation is that if you are going to the Tannery for something else and they happen to be open, it's definitely worth going in. Do NOT make a special trip just to get olive oil. I've been disappointed 4 times . . . .
Newburyport Olive Oil Company is under new ownership! They are open 7 days starting in March and have added a great selection of private labeled, locally made jams, pickles, salts, spices and other goodies. Yay!
