Nice selection of children clothes, toys, and movies
UPDATE: Went back in to get email for the owner and emailed my experience below. As of May 30 2017 no response. I sent my email two days ago.
Very astute owner who knows everything there is to know about children's clothing and apparel.
UPDATE3: received another email on July 10 stating I hope I feel like a man for trashing someone's hard work on social media. I politely disagreed and was also told people can have a bad day. So was it a bad day or she thought kids were done with toys? I was also allured in the email as being a coward. This is all from the owner. Make your own judgements.
My son has GDD. Every other children's orchard lets him play with the toys. We have spent over 1k at children's orchard. Today as I leave I will never come back to this location. It seemed as if an employee did not like my son and niece playing with s John deer steering wheels while my wife and I browsed the items. We were the only ones in the store. They did not break or harm anything and I do keep an eye on them anywhere we go. I was asked if we would be buying the toy with not even so much of a hello. I said it did not have a price and inquired if there was an issue. I was told no just the woman was rearranging the toys and asked because of that. I don't believe her based on her tone, display of body movements and hushed speech when I waited for a price and she saw me. Very disappointed.
I almost didnt even go in after being into the other locations of this franchise, but thankfully I did. Absolutely, by far, THE BEST CHILDRENS ORCHARD. The staff was SO friendly and nice to my kids, even let them pick a "prize" from their treasure chest. I just bought ALL their winter outerwear for a fraction of what I normally spend at Lands End. The selection is incredible, the condition is like new and the prices are unbeatable. Went back yesterday and bought all three of my kids Halloween costumes! Sold to them today and made over $100 in store credit, which I spent immediately.
Great store, the best kids resale around! Staff is SO friendly and the store is immaculate. I didnt realize that it was resale until I looked at the outrageously low prices! I purchased Mini Boden, Hatley, Hanna Andersson, Crewcuts, Mini Melissa & Hunter among many other great brands! Cant wait to go back.
UPDATE: I suspect the "sudden" addition of 5 star reviews coinciding just after my updates below are not real but put in to jack the star rating back up. A good example is how most of these posts have no pictures for profiles, and hit on the same exact items I had issues with. I have shopped at several of these locations for over 5 years now. I may call Corp. again to question the validity of such entries and see if this in any way these are suspect. The last time I called I received an apology for how we were treated and gave all my emails as evidence. DO yourself a favor go to the biggest Childrens Orchard in the area I always go to. Newington NH. Always nice and always fair.
